WCC XIV Semi-Final Update

The WCC XIV Semi Finals have now been completed and we move onto the Finals and 3rd Place play-off matches.. The site has been updated and all fixtures have been created so please accept them ASAP.

This semi-final round-up cannot pass by without mentioning Hoi An manager Hanoi who has guided his team to the Cup Final, and is only the 2nd Aussie team to ever it this far.

We have to go back to WCC IV (Season 4) when the last Aussie team, Wests Tigers graced the Cup Final, where they lost to WCC Regulars Tins Titans.

Hanoi will be hoping his team goes one step further when he comes up against the mighty Frodsham Koala Bears who have won the Cup and WCC Masters an impressive 3 times and also been cup runners-up twice. It is a tall order for Hoi An, but his team is in good form after knocking off the Penguin Wanderers, Fantaikuvium XV, Sleepy Goats and the Jolly Roger Crew on his way.

Another interesting fact is that through it's history, the WCC has been dominated by English and Italian quality teams and only the Wests Tigers, East Perth Pumas (now HK Pumas), Emu Slopes, Parramatta Old Boys and Kazza's KM & The Wacky Zany Kids have ever got their hands on any WCC Winner or Runner-up silverware, so Hanoi will join an elite bunch of managers.

Z-T's Queensland Force also have a chance of joining the illustrious bunch this season where he takes on Ragg's Neanderthals in the Shield.

The Finals teams are as follows;
